Welcome to my psychotherapy practice website! Here you can learn about my approach to treatment and training opportunities. I am excited to share my approach to healing with you and hope you find everything you need. This website is dedicated to sandplay therapy, art psychotherapy, and C. G. Donna Johnson, LCSW, ATR-BC, CST-T, has been a teaching member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy/Sandplay Therapists of America (www.sandplay.org) since 1995. She received her art therapy training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1975 and her Masters in Social Work at University of Georgia in 1982. She has a strong background in Jungian analysis both through personal analysis and didactic seminars. She has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 30 years. Following 15 years in private practice, she joined The Link Counseling Center in 2005. She has presented both regionally and nationally often focusing on the combined use of art therapy and sandplay therapy. She most recently taught at the Sandplay Therapy Institute for Sandplay Therapists of America's advanced training. She has served on the STA board and published articles and artwork in the Journal of Sandplay Therapy. Donna is a professional artist completing an MA in painting at SCAD-Atlanta in 2008. Her artwork expresses the alchemy of personal transformation.
